Districts and LLGs are at the centre stage of this project and the eventual ownership is to be theirs. All 83 Districts as per the Organic Law are strongly encouraged to submit an application in the following Calls for Proposals.

DPLGA was well represented at the Provincial Administrators meeting in Lae, 23-26th February 2010, where the Prime Minister outlined the Papua New Guinea Vision 2050 to the provinces. SDLLGP Project Manager, Mr. Gevo Mabone attended along with the Local Government Advisory Services Division Director, Mr. Simon Kunai and Deputy Director, Mr. Joe Warus. |
