The Strengthening of Districts and Local Level Governments (SDLLG) Project has four major components where by call for proposals fall under component 1 which talks about the grant facility. There will be four calls for proposals inviting all 83 Districts as enumerated in the LLG Gazette # G1-15 January 2007, to apply for grant funding throughout the life of the Project. The calls will be made within a period of six months from when the previous call was made. In the first call for proposal, there was an anticipated award of (6) grants however 9 were awarded. There will be twelve (12) in the second call, twenty four (24) in the third call and finally twenty eight (28) in the last call. All in all there will be a total of seventy (70) grants awarded to successful Districts and their Local-level Governments throughout the country.
